You have your choice of Amer-Sea snorkel vest models.  Traditional weight - (item # 1430) Recreational use.  Heavy Duty weight - (item # 1530) Superior material is more durable designed for active use and for rental programs. Both material weights are cut to the same size and we use the same high quality oral inflator valve in all models.  Crotch Straps - recommended as an option to help keep vest in position.  CO2 Activator & Over Pressure Valve (item # 1532) Available only on heavy duty models. 1530 Adult & 1535 Junior This Heavy Duty vest designed for rigorous rental use or active personal use. More durable heavier material is used in this model than the traditional model.  How good are they? Well, the factory sell sells thousands to the Cruise Ship Industry which is one of the busiest rental programs in the world. They only buy the ones that hold up the longest.  Waist Strap is standard. Optional Crotch Strap: You may want the optional crotch strap for more controlled fit.  Size: Adult vest headng is 13" X 7"; Junior vests are 9” X 7”. Color: Day Glow Yellow     Quality counts:   1. We use the best chromed brass inflator valves available for oral inflation.  2. Please note: Some other brands of vests cut costs with plastic valves. We say that is a big "no no".   3. RF (Radio Frequency) Welding  The principle behind the process is the use of high frequency radio energy to produce molecular agitation in thermoplastic materials (ie:, polyurethane or pvc) to the point where they literally weld together, typically forming a bond that is as strong as the original material. To achieve the weld, sheets of flexible material are placed between a machined brass die (with raised areas representing the desired weld pattern) and a platen on the RF machine. The head of the machine comes down and generates pressure. The RF comes on and is channeled through the material in the pattern areas only, fusing the materials together at those points.
