840  AMER-GUARD™ BCD Many instructors use this BC because it stands up to the constant use and demands of teaching classes all year. It is easy for them to switch bladders (3 lift capacities available) depending on what they are doing. Cold water diving and/or working with heavy objects or lots of weight, may call for the 75lb. lift bladder. Most divers use the the standard 45lb. lift bladder assembly.  Dive stores like the flexibility of these models because they make it so easy to fit all body shapes and sizes. Each component is available in sizes which may be mixed and matched so everyone can be properly fitted. Think of a 30 inch waist on a person 6' 4". He (or she) may use a small jacket and cummerbund with X-Large shoulders. Or the reverse could be a XX-Large person who is 5'6" tall wearing Small shoulders. Shoulders are available in all colors as shown below.   Your choice of three bladder lift capacities - 45 lbs., 55 lbs., 75 lbs. (all are same price each)  Made with 1,000 denier Cordura to be durable and stand up to repetitive use by instructors and active divers. Welded steel D-rings.
