2460 Regulator Adjustment tool and gauge This tool is used by technicians to adjust intermediate pressure into the Second stage and/or the Octopus. Remove the hose into the second stage (or octopus) by using two (2) wrenches: one wrench to hold the regulator bolt and another wrench to loosen the hose bolt. Insert the tool into the regulator air intake and use the knob to gently align the "screw-driver" plunger with the slot in the regulator. Attach the low pressure hose to the tool. While under pressure, turn the knob to adjust the amount of pressure you want flowing into the regulator. Good technicians have the knowledge and experience to make proper settings.
